Even if you can’t spend an hour at the gym every day, that doesn’t mean you can’t still squeeze plenty of activity into your day, say Iowa State University researchers, who found that naturally thin women tend to spend twice as much time on their feet each day as heavier gals and burn 300 more calories a day, every day (the equivalent of 30 pounds a year) because of it.

Follow their lead and start thinking of exercise as something you do all the time, not just at the gym.
