Yes, we covered more than the Royal Wedding this week (see Schmutzie's Child-Free Twitter List and our GourmetLive and BlogHer Food Tour of Atlanta, below). But I don't think anything has made me laugh as hard -- or stomp around as angrily -- as the blogging women are doing about the nuptials of Prince William of England and his princess, Katherine Middleton, and the press coverage of her weight. "Creating my kid-free list seemed innocent enough to me at the time. I tend to swim in a sea that seems primarily comprised of mommybloggers and daddybloggers, and I was suddenly possessed of the urge to find and collect those out there who fit my particular demographic: people over 30 who do not have children. I intended nothing political by or pre-supposing about it. I simply had the very human desire to see myself reflected out in the world. It had only existed for about half an hour, though, before I started losing followers and friends on Twitter and Facebook."

| My Brother Broke My Heart  Writer Jean Kwok, whose book Girl in Translation is next on the list for the BlogHer Book Club, writes a wrenchingly beautiful post about heartbreak on BlogHer's Own Your Beauty.
"Let me tell you about the worst thing that has ever happened to me. As the youngest of seven children, I used to lie in bed and worry about the rest of my family all dying before me. My only consolation was my older brother Kwan, who was the closest to me in age. We would go through it together, until the bitter end, and in my over-imaginative mind, I thought that saying good-bye to him would be the worst of all. Then, in November 2009, Kwan disappeared a few days before Thanksgiving weekend."
